BIO

July Janssen is een Nederlandse actrice, woonachtig in Amsterdam, vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels, met meer dan 15 jaar ervaring in film en televisie.


Ze speelde uiteenlopende rollen, zoals Ila, een creatieve dakloze vrouw met een verslaving in In Love Again, een opstandige tienerdochter in Verkracht of niet, en een idealistische en soms onvoorspelbare advocaat in Rebel Dogs. Andere rollen vertolkte ze in Loverboy: Emoties uit, Last Days en Star Wars: Remnants of the Order.


Ze volgde haar opleiding, inclusief een extra masterjaar, aan de film actors academy amsterdam (faaam). Haar werk is geworteld in Method Acting, Meisner, Stanislavski en de Uta Hagen-techniek.


July voelt zich aangetrokken tot gelaagde, fysiek en emotioneel veeleisende personages die vaak ongezien of onbegrepen blijven.


Naast haar acteerwerk is ze avontuurlijk en creatief. Ze rijdt motor, beoefent boogschieten en klimmen, en heeft een grote liefde voor dieren en beeldende kunst.
